I'm a 5th year electrical engineering student at UBCO. I love to write code, tinker with electronics and learn new things. From developing software for a fully autonomous helicopter to building my own electric longboard, I'm always working on something that teaches me something new.

Aug 2025 - Dec 2025: Embedded System Engineer Intern

  • Led the electrical and firmware integration of a new I2C sensor into a device prototype.
  • Contributed various new features to a pre-existing FreeRTOS codebase using Git.
  • Managed firmware testing and performance analysis of over 50 device prototypes.

CIMA+

Jun 2024 - Aug 2024: Industrial Automation Engineering Intern

  • Explored the field of industrial automation with hands-on experience with PLCs and marshalling equipment.
  • Designed, modelled, and manufactured a custom modular panel for mounting and displaying automation equipment.
  • Extended my practical experience modelling in SolidWorks.

UBCO Aerospace

Sep 2023 - Present: Director of Software

  • Led a team of engineering and computer science students to develop autonomous systems for large drones.
  • Gained experience configuring and remotely controlling Arducopter flight systems using various ground stations.
  • Implemented custom, redundant telemetry and video links using both direct radio and LTE.

Sep 2022 - Apr 2023: Remote UAV Operator

  • Worked as an integral part of the UBCO Aerospace team configuring Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) for flight and writing software for automonous flight planning.
  • Won 2nd place at the AEAC 2023 Competition.

  • Identified and fixed issues related to software and hardware at points of sale to keep them operational.
  • Maintained Android applications and databases for scanning tickets and tracking inventory.
